Dr Allan Donsky, child and adolescent psychiatrist for 29 years and former pediatrician, is currently a clinical associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Calgary. As an active educator who specializes in fostering wellbeing, he has purposefully dedicated himself to community outreach and capacity building, regularly facilitating workshops in academic settings, in not-for-profit agencies, and leading community groups. As an educator on transdisciplinary teams, he mentors residents and runs workshops and seminars. His current research interests are situated at the intersection of psychiatry, contemplative practice, and spirituality.
Allan is also a Consultant & Board Chair for the Canadian Institute of Natural and Integrative Medicine.
